Install speed bumps for Kings Road

Statement

We, the undersigned, petition the Council to install speed bumps on Kings Road, St Margarets.

Details

As a connecting street between two busy roads (St Margarets Road and Crown Road), Kings Road is used as a rat run during busy periods. This is a constant danger to the families, many with small children, living on the street and for passers-by, and, on 4 July, resulted in a collision with a very serious injury for a pedestrian. The only way to avoid this without blocking access to the street is to install speed bumps, which we request the Council to do immediately. This petition has been pre-coordinated and agreed with the residents of Kings Road, where the overwhelming majority is in favour of the installation of speed bumps.
