Bonfires to be allowed on allotments in Richmond

Statement

We, the undersigned, petition the Council to allow bonfires on the first Saturday of the month between 9am and 1pm and on Monday to Friday between 1 October and 30 April.

Details

The Council has initiated a ban on all bonfires across the Borough without due regard for:

1, The environmental impact of having to drive back and forth to Townmeade with waste.

2, The impact on elderly and less able residents and their ability to dispose of waste.
