KB Controlled Parking Zone

Statement

We, the undersigned, petition the Council to change the KB Controlled Parking Zone times from 10.00am to 12.00pm to 10.00am to 4.30pm.

Details

The old West Green site currently being developed, and the former Smith Brothers site and number 11 Sandycombe Road are all within the top part of Sandycombe Road. There are also plans to build 400 homes on the current Homebase and Pets at Home site which will put even more strain on this part of the road. The council is aware of the current issues facing this part of Sandycombe Road and the KB controlled parking zone. There is going to be no parking on the Homebase/Pets at Home site which will mean anyone who has a car will be parking on Sandycombe Road and the surrounding areas. The old West Green site only has a few car parking spaces which is not sufficient for its office space and flats. The former Smith Brothers site will also have hardly any parking.

We would like a change to the hours of operation so that residents can have more opportunities to park in their own road.
