Improve Road Safety on Stanley Road, Teddington

Statement

We would like to change the zebra crossing on Stanely Road, which is just before the Somerset Road turning, to a signalised crossing.

Details

We feel the provision of a signalised crossing is essential to safeguarding the high number of children and parents who use this crossing daily. Whilst we are aware that it is a parent’s responsibility to ensure their child's safety, this road is extremely fast and often cars, buses, vans and lorries speed down it and do not notice the crossing or the children waiting to use it.
