Introduction of CPZ to Bolton Gardens Teddington (including Nos 1-7 Cromwell Road)

Statement

We, the undersigned, petition the Council to start a consultation process with the view of implementing a Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) in Bolton Gardens, Teddington (TW11) (including Nos 1-7 Cromwell Road). Currently Bolton Gardens is the only road without CPZ in the area, all surrounding roads have CPZ, this leads to the road being used for parking by rail travellers, shoppers and visitors.

Details

Residents consistently have to deal with poor parking by non residents quite often covering drive ways, long term stays people using the road while on holiday, anti social behaviour when people return to their cars. Because all other roads have CPZ we rarely see traffic wardens. There is never space for residents to park as the local businesses use Bolton Gardens as their car park.
