New road surface or road block for early morning rat run Rivermeads Avenue through Willow Way

Statement

Install new road surfacing to restrict daily noise from cars cutting through during 6am - 10am or block road completely. To save waiting at Shell garage lights many cut through Court Close right onto Rivermeads Avenue and through Willow Way to Hospital Bridge A316. The unlevel road surface makes this a more constant noise, waking people every day Mon-Fri.

With a smoother road along this small section the noise would be far less.
