The school coaches that block Hanworth road

Statement

Consider how the 80 double decker coaches that travel down Hanworth road daily should be managed. Most of the coaches are empty. The coaches get stuck causing huge traffic lines as they travel in both directions, to and from. These journeys can be served by mini busses as the coaches are empty or barely full. The school should be encouraged to manage their journeys more effectively with local residents being encouraged to walk to school this is not in line with Richmonds walk to school policy. The coaches violate Richmond’s pollution policy . Hanworth road was not designed to carry this level of coach traffic which is in line with a coach station this is a residential road.
