Ineffective Speed Bumps Fulwell Road

Statement

We, the undersigned, petition the Council to increase the width of the speed bumps on Fulwell Road Teddington. The current speed bumps are too narrow and even the smallest of cars can (and do) drive over the bumps at speeds higher than 20mph.

Details

Fulwell Road's speed bumps are too narrow and as a result cars can easily speed down our road at speeds well above 20 mph. The road is used as a rat run by people using this road as a cut through. The parking is already at full capacity as we do not have a Controlled Parking Zone in place (yet). So with cars parked either side of, this further worsens the danger, of speeding cars down the road. The residents are concerned that our pets or worse our children could come to serious harm if this matter is not resolved soon.
