Worple Street: Business Parking Bays Conversion

Statement

We, the undersigned, petition the Council, to convert the business parking bays on Worple Street into resident parking bays.

Details

The Old Clinic has now been converted into residential properties. As there is no longer a commercial business operating on Worple Street, there is no longer a need to have the business parking bays. Changing the bays from business to residential would ease parking congestion for residents living on the street and would give greater ease of access for parents dropping their children off at the primary school located at the end of the street.

This need to convert the bays in front of the Old Clinic,  formerly designated as business bays, to allow permit holders to park, has been reported to the Council. It is on a list of projects officers are currently working through.
