CPZ Request for Clifford Road, Buckingham Road and Meadlands Drive

Statement

We, the residents of Clifford Road, Buckingham Road and Meadlands Drive request and support residents permit parking. We have had enough of not being able to park on our own roads and being given parking tickets for doing so. We would like to cut down on traffic through our roads to the surrounding schools to enable our roads to be safer for the children and to free up parking near to our homes.

Details

The parking on our roads has been horrendous for years and is getting worse. We have several residents with several cars to be parked and businesses with several vehicles as well as commuters which park on our roads and commute into central London. We also have regular occupancy of people parking blocking drives and hazard for children at the Russell school entrance with a huge flow of traffic and no parking or drop off area. We are proposing that our roads are made residents parking only in order to reduce traffic and danger to all.
