We, the undersigned, petition the Council to put an electric car charging point for public use somewhere in Barnes town centre. Currently there are only lamppost charging sites in the more residential areas of the town.
If the London Mayor is intent on raising congestion charges and taxes for polluting cars then surely London councils have a responsibility to put more charging points in. There are none in Richmond town centre aside from the NCP car park and none in Barnes town centre.
