Details
The London House site is less than 10 metres from the A316. There are obvious problems with pollution and road safety.
The school will generate enormous amounts of extra traffic in an area already congested.
There is no adequate access to the site for parents to drop off children and for the numerous large delivery vehicles and buses the school will need.
The site is far too small for 420 children and about 50 staff. One plan is for a play area on the roof because there is no space on the ground.
There are already 5 state schools in the area. The places are needed elsewhere in the borough.
