Dear Local Council, I am writing to request that you install an electric charging point in Westmoreland Close. There are a number of electric vehicle (EV) owners in the area who cannot charge their vehicles directly at their homes, and this charger would be a great help to them. Currently, the only way for these EV owners to charge their vehicles is to use public charging points, which are often located some distance away. This can be inconvenient and time-consuming, and it can also be a problem if the public charging points are already in use. An electric charging point in Westmoreland Close would be a great solution for these EV owners. It would be convenient and accessible, and it would help to reduce the number of trips to public charging points. I urge you to consider my request and to install an electric charging point in Westmoreland Close. Thank you for your time and consideration.
In addition, the installation of an electric charging point would send a positive message about the council's commitment to sustainability. It would show that the council is supportive of the transition to electric vehicles, which are a cleaner and more environmentally friendly form of transport.
